    About Me

An Australian-born Greek with salt in his veins, he has spent the past 15 years sailing the coastlines of both Australia and Greece. From the sun-soaked islands of the Aegean to the wild beauty of the Pacific, life on the water has shaped who he is. Blending his Greek heritage with an Australian sense of adventure, he’s explored hidden bays, weathered open seas, and embraced the freedom that only sailing can offer. For him, being on a boat isn’t just a pastime—it’s a way of life, a connection to culture, nature, and the stories carried by the wind.

    Experience

Driving a catamaran requires strong helming skills, precise sail or throttle control, and an understanding of how twin hulls handle differently from monohulls. Skippers must read wind and weather, manage navigation and anchoring, and communicate clearly with crew to ensure smooth manoeuvres, safety, and efficient performance on the water.

Sailing Greece requires mastering the Meltemi in the Cyclades, tight harbour entries in Hydra and Symi, and navigating the channels around Lefkada and Corfu. Skippers must handle gusty Aegean seas, busy marinas like Mykonos and Paros, and find safe anchorages in spots such as Milos, Naxos and Meganisi.

Sailing around Australia requires handling diverse conditions, from the tidal currents of the Kimberley to the trade winds of the Whitsundays and the swells of the Great Australian Bight. Skippers must navigate remote islands, manage reef-filled waters on the Great Barrier Reef, and handle long coastal passages with strong weather awareness.
